Formed in 1990 by vocalist/bassist Gary Meskil (ex-CRUMBSUCKERS),then New York-based PRO-PAIN benefited early from substantial support via MTV's "Headbanger's Ball". In 2004, the band returned to the program, clocking in regular and repeated rotation with "Can You Feel It". The band, currently featuring guitarists Tom Klimchuck and Eric Klinger (ex-SPUDMONSTERS),and drummer JC Dwyer (ex-PAINGOD) with Meskil, again plan a new video for "Prophets of Doom"; track not confirmed as of press time.

PRO-PAIN are currently set to kick off their next U.S. tour, following their recent run with labelmates ENTOMBED, CROWBAR and THE MIGHTY NIMBUS. The tour, set to begin on April 3 in New York City, will feature KREATOR, VADER and THE AUTUMN OFFERING. The band will then perform two headline shows before returning to Florida, their current base, to prepare for already confirmed European summer-time festivals.

PRO-PAIN's "Prophets of Doom" is scheduled for release on June 14.
